The figures, translated

Power: the 4.2L 8-cylinder; drive: all-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Expect about 47 litres for every 300 km, going by its 15.7 L/100 km combined rating. For 1,000 km, budget about $274.80 at our price setting.

Good uses for the S6

Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Room inside

As a wagon, it has the length of a car with a bigger load space at the back. EPA lists 963 litres of luggage space, enough for bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.

Getting this car from us

Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.

How it works

Nothing to pay up front: the first step is simply a request. We check the calendar and your details, then send you an offer with the total. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.

Driver basics

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.
