What to have ready

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

Booking in plain terms

Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. If the offer works for you, approve and pay to confirm. If not, you owe nothing.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.
