Rules for renters
Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.
Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.
