Want to know if the 2001 BMW M suits a car by the month? Read on. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement.
Reading the spec sheet
It is powered by the 3.2L 6-cylinder, with rear-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
Plan on about 39 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 13.1 L/100 km. For 1,000 km, budget about $229.30 at our price setting.
Is it right for your trip?
It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.
What to expect from the M
Low and compact, it is a car for the drive more than the cargo. It is 4.49 m long. It fits most condo and driveway spots.
Can you rent one?
A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Meanwhile, 10 similar cars are listed below. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
Renting: the basics
We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.
Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.
What happens when you ask for a car
Choose the car and your times, then send a request. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing. The reply is an offer you can read in full before you decide anything. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.
Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
Ready when you are
The quickest way to a price is a request with your dates. It costs nothing.
