About the 2008 BMW M
If you need a car by the month, the 2008 BMW M is one option; this page explains the car and how booking works. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking.
Engine and fuel
The 4.0L 8-cylinder, paired with a 6-speed manual, drives it. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
At 14.7 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 44 litres of fuel. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $77.19 at our price setting.
The M in everyday use
As a small car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. It is 4.62 m long. It fits most condo and driveway spots. The trunk holds 340 litres by the EPA's count: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.
Is it right for your trip?
It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends.
Renting the M from CarmaCars
Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.
What we ask of drivers
Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.
Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
What to expect when you book
To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.
Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.
