The 2016 BMW X6: Car subscription

Renting the 2016 BMW X6 as a car by the month works like any rental with us: a free request, an offer, then the keys. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking.

Reading the spec sheet

The 3.0L 6-cylinder turbo, paired with an 8-speed automatic, drives it. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.

It is rated 11.3 L/100 km combined: about 34 litres every 300 km. A 300 km weekend costs about $59.34 in energy at our price setting.

Living with the X6

The higher seat of a full-size SUV gives a good view of the road in traffic.

When the X6 makes sense

It suits winter trips and weekends with more gear than people. Families, skiers and anyone with bulky luggage.

Renting this car

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.

How to book

You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.

What we ask of drivers

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

Ready to ask?

Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.
