The 1981 Buick Skylark: Car subscription
Renting the 1981 Buick Skylark as a car by the month works like any rental with us: a free request, an offer, then the keys. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement.
Engine and fuel
No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.
What the Skylark is like
A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway.
Best uses
It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.
Can you rent one?
Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery starts at $75 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.
Who qualifies
The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.
Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
Booking in plain terms
Every booking starts as a request: the car, the dates and where you want it. Nothing is charged to send one. A real person reviews your request and sends an offer with the price spelled out. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.
The photos on a car's page are of that car. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.

Can I rent a 1981 Buick Skylark in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
