Renting the 2016 BYD e6
Searching for car subscription and the 2016 BYD e6? Here is what the car is like and how to rent one from us. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement.
What the specs mean
The electric motor, paired with a 1-speed automatic, drives it. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.
It uses 29.2 kWh per 100 km, so 300 km takes about 88 kWh of charge. A full charge is rated for 301 km; plan for less in the cold. Driving 300 km costs roughly $13.14 at our price setting.
Inside and out
Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height. Its 453 litre trunk is enough for a family's bags for a long weekend.
Is it right for your trip?
It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

How it works
A request is free and takes a few minutes: the car, your dates, and pickup or delivery. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.
Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.
What to have ready
You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.
Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
