Before you rent

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

Booking with CarmaCars

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.
