Car subscription and the 1997 Dodge Avenger
The 1997 Dodge Avenger is on this page for car subscription: here is what to know before you request one. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement.
Engine and fuel
The 2.0L 4-cylinder with front-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.
By the EPA's combined rating of 10.2 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 31 litres. Expect about $15.81 per 100 km at our price setting.
Who it is for
It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.
How big it is
It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. NHTSA lists it at 4.84 m long. Check the size of a tight parking spot. Its 368 litre trunk is enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.
In our fleet

The rules, briefly
You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.
You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
The steps
You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. The offer comes from a person, not a robot, and it carries the full price. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.
Compare cars side by side by opening their pages. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.
