What we check
An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.
Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.
How booking works
Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.
Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
