Renting the 1999 Dodge Intrepid
Renting the 1999 Dodge Intrepid as a car by the month works like any rental with us: a free request, an offer, then the keys. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement.
Engine and fuel
Its 2.7L 6-cylinder drives through a 4-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.
Fuel use is rated 10.7 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 32 litres. Expect about $16.59 per 100 km at our price setting.
Who rents the Intrepid
It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.
Inside and out
As a large sedan, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. The EPA lists 481 litres for luggage, roughly a family's bags for a long weekend.

How it works
Booking starts online: pick the car, set the times, and send the request at no cost. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.
Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.
What to bring
The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.
Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.
