About the 1989 Dodge Lancer
Want the 1989 Dodge Lancer as a car by the month? Start here: the car in plain words, then how booking works. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement.
Under the hood
Under the hood: the 2.2L 4-cylinder and front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.
The EPA rates it at 9.4 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 28 litres. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $145.70.
The Lancer in everyday use
As a mid-size car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. For luggage, 510 litres means a family's bags for a long weekend.
Who rents the Lancer
It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.
Getting one from us
A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.
Rules for renters
We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
What to expect when you book
First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. We send the offer to your account and your email, with the total shown. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.
Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
