Renting: the basics

Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.
