How it works

You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

Rules for renters

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.
