About the 2007 Ford Edge

Car subscription: the 2007 Ford Edge. Here is the car in plain words, and how renting one from CarmaCars works. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement.

Reading the spec sheet

The powertrain here is the 3.5L 6-cylinder with front-wheel drive and a 6-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Plan on about 37 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 12.4 L/100 km. A 300 km weekend costs about $57.66 in energy at our price setting.

What the Edge is like

It offers the space of an SUV with the height that makes loading easy.

Who the Edge suits

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

Rent it from us

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.

What to bring

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.

Getting the car booked

A request is free and takes a few minutes: the car, your dates, and pickup or delivery. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.
