Car subscription: grey 2020 Ford Escape S in Java

Renting the 2020 Ford Escape S

For a car by the month, here is what the 2020 Ford Escape S brings, and how to request one. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking.

A note on Java

We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here. Java is about 1,639 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

Next door to Java are Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

What the figures tell you

The powertrain here is the 1.5L 3-cylinder turbo with front-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

It is rated 7.8 L/100 km combined: about 23 litres every 300 km. In money, 1,000 km costs about $120.90 at our price setting.

A good match for

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

The Escape in everyday use

It offers the space of an SUV with the height that makes loading easy.

Renting the Escape from CarmaCars

Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Licence, age and card

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.

Your request, our offer, your keys

A request is free and takes a few minutes: the car, your dates, and pickup or delivery. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.
