Before pickup

Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

A request is free and takes a few minutes: the car, your dates, and pickup or delivery. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.
