The 2007 Ford Explorer: Car subscription
The 2007 Ford Explorer is on this page for car subscription: here is what to know before you request one. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking.
What the specs mean
Its powertrain is the 4.6L 8-cylinder with rear-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
Rated at 14.7 L/100 km combined, it needs around 44 litres for a 300 km round trip. In money, 1,000 km costs about $227.90 at our price setting.
The Explorer in everyday use
The higher seat of an SUV gives a good view of the road in traffic.
Good uses for the Explorer
It suits winter trips and weekends with more gear than people. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.
Getting this car from us
Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
Booking, step by step
Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.
Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
Rules for renters
Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.
Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
Make a request
If something here is unclear, ask in your request; we reply in plain words.
