Car subscription with this car
This page joins two things: car subscription, and the 2009 Ford Explorer in plain words. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking.
Reading the spec sheet
Under the hood: the 4.6L 8-cylinder and rear-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
Its combined rating is 13.8 L/100 km, which means roughly 41 litres for 300 km. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $213.90.
Who the Explorer suits
It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.
Inside and out
It offers the space of an SUV with the height that makes loading easy.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.
Rules for renters
Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.
Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.
