What the figures tell you

The powertrain here is the 2.3L 4-cylinder turbo with four-wheel drive and a 10-speed automatic. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. Four-wheel drive helps on rough ground and deep snow; on dry roads it behaves like any other vehicle.

It is rated at 11.7 L/100 km combined; 300 km takes about 35 litres. That works out to about $18.14 per 100 km at our price setting.

Who can rent

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.

From request to keys

The first step is a free request: which car, which dates, and how you want to get it. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
