Renting: the basics

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
