Rules for renters

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

Booking made plain

The first step is a free request: which car, which dates, and how you want to get it. The offer comes from a person, not a robot, and it carries the full price. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.
