Renting: the basics

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.

The booking steps

All you send at first is a request with the car and the dates, and it is free. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. You pay only once you approve the offer.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.
