Car subscription: the 2011 Ford Fusion

Want the 2011 Ford Fusion as a car by the month? Start here: the car in plain words, then how booking works. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking.

Specs, explained

The engine is the 2.5L 4-cylinder hybrid, with front-wheel drive and an automatic (CVT). As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Plan on about 19 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 6.2 L/100 km. In energy, every 100 km costs about $9.61 at our price setting.

Room inside

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. For luggage, 340 litres means about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Good uses for the Fusion

Its low fuel use suits long commutes and high-kilometre weeks. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Can I rent it?

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.

What we ask of drivers

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

How a booking comes together

Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.
