What we check

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.

The booking steps

Choose a car, set the pickup and return times, and send the request. You pay nothing to ask. A real person reviews your request and sends an offer with the price spelled out. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.
