The 2008 Ford Taurus: Car subscription

For a car by the month, the 2008 Ford Taurus is one of many cars on CarmaCars, each with its own page. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement.

What the specs mean

It uses the 3.5L 6-cylinder and front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Its combined rating is 11.6 L/100 km, which means roughly 35 litres for 300 km. Every 100 km costs about $17.98 in fuel at our price setting.

Best uses

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

Living with the Taurus

As a large sedan, it is easy to drive and park in the city. The EPA lists 595 litres for luggage, roughly bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.

Our Taurus cars

Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.

Booking in plain terms

Booking starts online: pick the car, set the times, and send the request at no cost. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.

What you need to rent

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.
