The 2012 Ford Taurus: Car subscription
Want the 2012 Ford Taurus as a car by the month? Start here: the car in plain words, then how booking works. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement.
What the figures tell you
Its 3.5L 6-cylinder drives through a 6-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.
The EPA rates it at 11.1 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 33 litres. The fuel for 100 km comes to about $17.21 at our price setting.
Is it right for your trip?
It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.
Living with the Taurus
Being a large sedan, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. Its 566 litre trunk is enough for bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.
