The 2001 Ford Windstar: Car subscription
This page joins two things: car subscription, and the 2001 Ford Windstar in plain words. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking.
The figures, translated
The 3.8L 6-cylinder does the work, through a 4-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.
By the EPA's combined rating of 13.1 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 39 litres. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $60.93 at our price setting.
Good uses for the Windstar
It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It uses more fuel than most, so it suits shorter trips or people who need its size.
Inside and out
A tall roof and wide doors make it easy to load people and bags.
Can you rent one?
Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.
The booking steps
It begins with your request, sent online in a few minutes, with no payment. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.
The photos on a car's page are of that car. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.
What we ask of drivers
Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.
Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
