About the 2014 GMC Acadia
Car subscription: the 2014 GMC Acadia. Here is the car in plain words, and how renting one from CarmaCars works. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement.
Under the hood
Power: the 3.6L 6-cylinder; drive: front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.
It is rated at 12.3 L/100 km combined; 300 km takes about 37 litres. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $190.70.
Good uses for the Acadia
It suits winter trips and weekends with more gear than people. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.
Practical details
The higher seat of a full-size SUV gives a good view of the road in traffic.

The booking steps
A booking with us starts as a request that you send without paying. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.
You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.
What to bring
Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.
Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.
