Car subscription and the 1982 GMC C5
For a car by the month, the 1982 GMC C5 is one of many cars on CarmaCars, each with its own page. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking.
Specs, explained
The EPA does not rate this model year for fuel use; heavier trucks and vans are often not rated.
Best uses
It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.
Inside and out
A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway.
Rent this car
Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.
The rules, briefly
We rent to drivers aged 18 and up who hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.
For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.
Requesting a car
A short online request with the car and your times gets things moving, at no cost. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.
The photos on a car's page are of that car. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.
