What you need to rent

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.

Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.
