The 1986 GMC DK: Car subscription

Want the 1986 GMC DK as a car by the month? Start here: the car in plain words, then how booking works. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement.

Engine and fuel

No fuel-use rating is published for this model year, so we leave those figures out.

Size and space

Being a car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives.

Who it is for

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.

Rent it from us

Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.

How booking works

Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

Compare cars side by side by opening their pages. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

Before you rent

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.

When you know your dates

Ask for the car, read the offer, approve it if it suits you.
