Car subscription and the 2002 GMC Sierra
For a car by the month, the 2002 GMC Sierra is one of many cars on CarmaCars, each with its own page. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking.
Reading the spec sheet
The 4.3L 6-cylinder, paired with a 4-speed automatic, drives it. It runs on regular gas. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
The EPA rates it at 14.7 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 44 litres. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $68.37 at our price setting.
Inside and out
As a pickup truck, it has an open bed for things that would never fit in a trunk.
Who the Sierra suits
It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.
Getting one from us

What happens when you ask for a car
Your part at the start is short: choose a car and dates and send a free request. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.
Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.
The rules, briefly
Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.
Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.
Next step
Pick the car that fits the trip and send a request.
