Car subscription and the 2012 GMC Sierra
Searching for car subscription? Here is the 2012 GMC Sierra: what it is like and how to rent it. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking.
Engine and fuel
The 6.0L 8-cylinder hybrid, paired with an automatic (CVT), drives it. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. Four-wheel drive helps on rough ground and deep snow; on dry roads it behaves like any other vehicle.
It is rated at 11.2 L/100 km combined, so budget about 34 litres for 300 km. In money, 1,000 km costs about $173.60 at our price setting.
How big it is
As a pickup truck, it has an open bed for things that would never fit in a trunk.
Who rents the Sierra
It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.
Getting one from us
Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.
What to expect when you book
The process opens with a request from you, which costs nothing and binds you to nothing. We check the calendar and your details, then send you an offer with the total. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.
A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.
Who qualifies
Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.
Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.
