Car subscription and the 2000 GMC Sonoma
The 2000 GMC Sonoma is on this page for car subscription: here is what to know before you request one. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement.
Engine and fuel
The 2.2L 4-cylinder does the work, through a 5-speed manual. It runs on regular gas. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
By the EPA's combined rating of 10.5 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 32 litres. The fuel for 100 km comes to about $16.28 at our price setting.
Good uses for the Sonoma
It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.
Size and space
A pickup is long and tall, so plan for parking and low garages.
Renting the Sonoma from CarmaCars
If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
How to book
Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. You pay when you approve, and only then.
The photos on a car's page are of that car. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.
Who qualifies
At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.
Still deciding?
When the dates are set, a request gets you a real price.
