Car subscription: the 2021 Honda Accord LX. Here is the car in plain words, and how renting one from CarmaCars works. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking.

Renting for Java

Java is about 3,178 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java.

Klinefelter, Ibis and Arrowhead Junction are the neighbouring places on our list.

Under the hood

The 1.5L 4-cylinder turbo is what moves it, with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Its combined rating is 7.1 L/100 km, which means roughly 21 litres for 300 km. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $33.03 at our price setting.

Space and size

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. With 481 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes a family's bags for a long weekend.

Good uses for the Accord

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

Rent this car

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer.

What you need to rent

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

Requesting a car

Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

One more step

Look through the cars, choose one, and send a request when it suits you.
