Car subscription: white 2017 Honda Civic EX in Java

Car subscription with this car

This 2017 Honda Civic EX page is written for a car by the month: the car first, then renting it from us. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking.

Java and the Civic

Java is about 1,639 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area. If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

If you are close to Java, you may also be near Selby, Lowry and Sitka.

What the figures tell you

The engine is the 1.5L 4-cylinder turbo, with front-wheel drive and a 6-speed manual. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

By the EPA's combined rating of 6.8 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 20 litres. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $31.62 at our price setting.

Who the Civic suits

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

How big it is

Being a compact car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. For luggage, 736 litres means bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.

Renting it

Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

From your dates to the handover

Your part at the start is short: choose a car and dates and send a free request. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.

Driver requirements

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.

When you know your dates

Look through the cars, choose one, and send a request when it suits you.
