Car subscription: green 2021 Honda Civic EX in Java

Car subscription and the 2021 Honda Civic EX

This 2021 Honda Civic EX page is written for a car by the month: the car first, then renting it from us. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement.

The Civic and Java

If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java. Java is about 1,072 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

If you are close to Java, you may also be near Tara Village, South Side and Howe.

Specs, explained

It uses the 1.5L 4-cylinder turbo and front-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

At 6.9 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 21 litres of fuel. For 1,000 km, budget about $107 at our price setting.

Who rents the Civic

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Room inside

Being a large sedan, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. In plain terms, its 736 litres of luggage space hold bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.

Can I rent it?

Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 8 similar cars are listed below.

Booking, step by step

Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

What to bring

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

Ask us

Tell us your dates and where you want the car, and we will do the rest.
