What we check

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.
