Car subscription with this car
Here is the 1985 Isuzu Pickup, for anyone after a car by the month. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement.
Under the hood
Under the hood: the 2.2L 4-cylinder and rear-wheel drive. It runs on diesel, sold at most highway stations. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
The EPA rates it at 7.4 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 22 litres. Driving 300 km costs roughly $34.41 at our price setting.
Good uses for the Pickup
It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.
Practical details
A pickup is long and tall, so plan for parking and low garages.
Getting this car from us
A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
What we ask of drivers
Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.
Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.
Request, offer, keys
The process opens with a request from you, which costs nothing and binds you to nothing. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.
A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
