Rules for renters
You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.
If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.
Request, offer, keys
Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.
Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
