The 2002 Jaguar S-type: Car subscription
The 2002 Jaguar S-type for a car by the month: the facts first, then the booking. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement.
The figures, translated
The engine is the 3.0L 6-cylinder, with rear-wheel drive and a 5-speed automatic. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
Plan on about 39 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 13.1 L/100 km. The fuel for 100 km comes to about $22.93 at our price setting.
How big it is
It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. The EPA lists 340 litres for luggage, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.
A good match for
It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.
Our S-type cars
Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.
How booking works
To get started, send a request for the car and dates. You are not charged for it. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.
Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.
What we ask of drivers
Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.
You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.
Ready to ask?
The quickest way to a price is a request with your dates. It costs nothing.
