Renting the 2008 Kia Optima
For a car by the month, the 2008 Kia Optima is one of many cars on CarmaCars, each with its own page. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking.
Engine and fuel
It runs the 2.4L 4-cylinder, with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.
For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 28 litres, from its 9.4 L/100 km rating. In energy, every 100 km costs about $14.57 at our price setting.
Living with the Optima
Being a mid-size car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. With 396 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.
When the Optima makes sense
It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.
Rent this car
If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
How a booking comes together
Choose the car and your times, then send a request. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.
You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.
Who can rent
Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.
Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.
