The 2004 Lexus ES: Car subscription
Renting the 2004 Lexus ES as a car by the month works like any rental with us: a free request, an offer, then the keys. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement.
What the specs mean
The engine is the 3.3L 6-cylinder, with front-wheel drive and a 5-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.
A combined rating of 11.2 L/100 km works out to about 34 litres per 300 km. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $17.36, and a 300 km weekend about $52.08.
Best uses
It uses more fuel than most, so it suits shorter trips or people who need its size. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.
The ES in everyday use
As a mid-size car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. For luggage, 425 litres means a family's bags for a long weekend.
Can I rent it?
We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
How booking works
A short online request with the car and your times gets things moving, at no cost. Our team answers with an offer: the confirmed car, the dates and the full price. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.
Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.
What you need to rent
Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.
The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.
Still deciding?
Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.
