The 1993 Lexus LS: Car subscription
For a car by the month, the 1993 Lexus LS could fit; below, the figures and how booking works. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement.
The figures, translated
The powertrain here is the 4.0L 8-cylinder with rear-wheel drive and a 4-speed automatic. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
The combined figure, 13.1 L/100 km, means roughly 39 litres for 300 km. Every 100 km costs about $22.93 in fuel at our price setting.
When the LS makes sense
It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.
How big it is
As a mid-size car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. With 368 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.
Can you rent one?

What to bring
Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.
What to expect when you book
A booking with us starts as a request that you send without paying. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.
The photos on a car's page are of that car. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.
Make a request
When the dates are set, a request gets you a real price.
