Renting the 2014 Lexus LS
If you need a car by the month, read about the 2014 Lexus LS here, then request it. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement.
Engine and fuel
The powertrain here is the 5.0L 8-cylinder hybrid with all-wheel drive and an automatic (CVT). It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.
Expect about 35 litres for every 300 km, going by its 11.5 L/100 km combined rating. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $178.30.
Space and size
Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. Luggage space is 283 litres, enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.
Who it is for
It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.
Rent it from us
We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. Delivery to your door is available across the Toronto area.
Driver basics
Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.
If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
The steps
The process opens with a request from you, which costs nothing and binds you to nothing. Our team answers with an offer: the confirmed car, the dates and the full price. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.
Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
