The 2020 Lexus LS: Car subscription
For a car by the month, the 2020 Lexus LS could fit; below, the figures and how booking works. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking.
Specs, explained
Power: the 3.5L 6-cylinder hybrid; drive: rear-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
A combined rating of 8.4 L/100 km works out to about 25 litres per 300 km. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $130.20.
The LS in everyday use
A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. Its 340 litres of luggage space fit about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.
Best uses
It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.
Renting it
Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.
Who can rent
Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.
For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
How to book
Tell us the car and the dates in a request. There is no fee for asking. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.
Compare cars side by side by opening their pages. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.
