Renting the 2005 Lexus RX

If you need a car by the month, read about the 2005 Lexus RX here, then request it. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement.

The numbers in plain words

The powertrain to know here is the 3.3L 6-cylinder, with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Rated at 12.1 L/100 km combined, it needs around 36 litres for a 300 km round trip. For 1,000 km, budget about $187.60 at our price setting.

Space, size and seats

Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height.

Good uses for the RX

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Rent it from us

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.

From request to keys

Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. Someone on our team confirms the car is free for those dates and sends you an offer with every charge listed. You pay when you approve, and only then.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

Renting: the basics

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.

Send a request

A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.
