Car subscription with this car

Car subscription and the 2007 Lexus RX: the figures first, then how to rent it from CarmaCars. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking.

Reading the spec sheet

The 3.3L 6-cylinder hybrid, paired with an automatic (CVT), drives it. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Fuel use is rated 9.0 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 27 litres. A 300 km weekend costs about $41.85 in energy at our price setting.

What the RX is like

An SUV body means more headroom and a taller cargo opening than a car of the same length.

Who the RX suits

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

Renting this car

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.

Licence, age and card

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.

The booking steps

Every booking starts as a request: the car, the dates and where you want it. Nothing is charged to send one. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

Over to you

The next step is yours: send a request whenever you are ready.
